Welcome to Stanwell Moor History Group

Stanwell Moor has been around for several hundred years and yet there's a gap in local history where "The Moor" is concerned. The simple aim of this Group is to capture, share and discuss our history and help rekindle pride in our village.

Every month we'll post a History Blog about some aspect of the village, and the idea is to comment and keep the discussion going. Whether you can add to the stories, provide new (old) pictures you may have, close any gaps, come up with new stories or even just like it, we'd love you to be a part of the Group, and over time we'll capture a decent potted history of this place we call home.
